About the Photographer

I’ve been shooting with Film despite the growing advances of digital in the photography world, which puts me in an archaic but exceedingly unique position of analog photographer amongst my digital peers in my generation.  I own a nikon F3HP and an M6 and do the majority of my photography using those.  I work with TMax 100asa for BW photos and Velvia 50asa for color slides.

These are just random shots of the world around me for others to take a look at.  My philosophy on the goal of Photography is that one is meant to try and capture a moment/emotion and effectively communicate the same moment to the viewer through your techniques and skill.  I’m on a long road to get to where I want to be and I welcome your critiques on my journey….

Like anybody, I have many different interests and observations on a range of subjects so don’t look to this blog as some sort of expert on any one thing….its one person’s life and perspective.
